    why would = reason

    Hi,

Is there any difference between these two sentences?

    a) Why would anyone want to drink dirty water?
    b) Why would anyone drink dirty water?

    Re: why would = reason

The first questions their desire to drink dirty water. The second questions their action of drinking it.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
