    A question about quantifiers

Hi, I have a question about quantifiers.
I couldn't understand which one to use in this sentence
We have only got ...... milk left so get some when you go shopping.
Should I say we have only got little milk or
we have only got a little milk
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: A question about quantifiers

    Two possibilities:

    1. We have only got a little milk left so get some when you go shopping. Better and more common today.

    2. We have little milk left so get some when you go shopping. A bit archaic and less common, though also correct.

Also possible, and I think most common: We only have a little milk left, so get some when you go shopping.
