    He completed law at Harvard

    Hi. I just want to ask you a question. Should we use the past simple for old news? Or the present perfect if it shows an experience? In this example I'm saying that the information isn't new.

    - He completed/ has completed law at Harvard.

    Consider using "studied" instead of "completed" in the above.

    He graduated with a law degree from Harvard.
    He's a Harvard law graduate.
