Smile Is I have ever been a broadcaster." grammatically correct?

I read that "ever" is often used in questions, negatives, comparisons, or sentences with ‘if’, but I'm not sure if "I have ever been a broadcaster." is grammatically correct. Any help will be appreciated.

    Hello, on the way.
I'm afraid the word "ever" is not used in that way.
If you wish to use the present perfect, the sentence should be "I have been a broadcaster before."

    (Edit)
If you're talking about your past experience as a broadcaster, "I used to be a broadcaster." would be better.

I'm not sure if "I have ever been a broadcaster." is grammatically correct.
It's ungrammatical as an affirmative answer to "Have you ever been a broadcaster?"
Interpreted as grammatical, it is archaic for "I have always been a broadcaster."

Note that you could say the emphatic "I've only ever been a broadcaster."
