    subjunctive/so that I can examine them

    1) He brings the letters to me so that I will sign them. 2) He brings the letters to me so that I would sign them. 3) He brings the letters to me so that I may sign them. 4) He brings the letters to me so that I might sign them. 5) He brings
    Which are correct?

    1) They bring the specimens here so that I will examine them.
    2) They bring the specimens here so that I would examine them.

    3) They bring the specimens here so that I may examine them.

    4) They bring the specimens here so that I might examine them.

    5) They bring the specimens here so that I can examine them..

    6) They bring the specimens here so that I could examine them.

    7) They bring the specimens here so that I should examine them.

    8) They bring the specimens here for me to examine.


    Which imply
    a) that I have to examine them
    and which imply
    b) I want to examine them
    and which imply
    c) I will choose whether to examine them or not

    Sentences one, three and four are correct. (For sentence two, say: "He brought the letters to me so I would sign them."

    This one doesn't work for me.
