Once, Peter confronted one of his colleagues

I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

Once, Peter confronted one of his colleagues and told him if he had something against him to tell him to his face and not behind his back. The man went crimson and apologised.

Re: Once, Peter confronted one of his colleagues

I'd probably start with "Peter once confronted ..." or "One day, Peter confronted ...". When I read the word "Once" on its own at the beginning, I assumed it meant "One time only" not "On one occasion".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I took it to be the continuation of a narrative about Peter, who was introduced in a previous sentence.
