(1-a) He is wiser than me.
(1-b) He is wiser than I.
Which one is correct?

(2-a) There's lots of work to do.
(2-b) There's lots of work to be done.
Which one is correct?
Is there any difference between (2-a) and (2-b)?

They are all commonly used in colloquial English.

Others will no doubt comment on aspects of more formal usage.

Your teacher may tell you that only B is correct. In fact, nearly every Anglophone would say A, and well-informed teachers say either one is correct.

I would say there's a third option which is less common than "than me" but more common than "than I":

- He is wiser than I am.

The site Matthew linked to in post #3 recommends that solution.
