    David has grown three more inches.

    1) David has grown three more inches.

    2) That tree has grown one more foot.

    3) The tumor has grown a few more inches.

    They need more information — like '... since I saw him three years ago'/'... in the last five years'/'... since my last MRI' (though a few more millimetres would be a more plausible growth rate for a tumour).

    They're all OK and you'll hear all of them but note that you can remove the word "more" from all of them with no change in meaning. The use of "grown" makes "more" redundant.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
