    if you get a detailed explanation of something

    Jane gave Peter a detailed description/explanation for a new cooking recipe.

    Are my following sentences correct?
    a. Peter had himself all explained by Jane.
    b. Peter had himself the complete cooking recipe explained by Jane.

    In terms of a new cooking recipe Peter had himself all explained by Jane.
    Peter had himself the complete cooking recipe explained by Jane.

    Remove "himself" from "b", and it becomes possible.

    @teechar I think I have to remove "himself" from all sentences.

    Please my dear forum members, have a second look at all of my sentences.

    a. Peter had all explained by Jane.
    b. Peter had the complete cooking recipe explained by Jane.
    c. In terms of a new cooking recipe Peter had all explained by Jane.
    d. Peter had the complete cooking recipe explained by Jane.

    Yes, but the meanings of "a" and "b" would not necessarily be the same.

    That's unusual but possible. Consider using "the" instead of "a" in that sentence.

    You need to use "a" and "b" in the context you gave, ragan ー the pronoun "it" refers to the cooking recipe.
