    is this sentence correct?

    1- (The) verbs that follow the pattern of a particular conjugation group are said to be regular verbs.

    Do I need to use the before 'verbs'?

    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
