    Attending a secondary school

Can I say this in English?
Attending a secondary school can only be recommended if the student's performance allows it.

    Re: Attending a secondary school

It's grammatical but I don't really see how someone's performance can "allow" anything. If you said "allows for it", it would be a bit clearer. I would probably use "warrants it".

Isn't going to secondary school compulsory in Germany?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

You could also omit the indefinite article before secondary school for me.

Could the apprenticeship schools in Germany be seen as separate from secondary schools?
