    Moon

May I know the simple names of the different partial eclipse of the moon for a kindergarten kid?

I know full moon and half moon. How about the name of the shape like the letter C?

    Thanks.

You might want to read up on "waxing" and "waning", and "gibbous" too.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
