    It makes no difference

    Hi,

Is "It makes no difference to you wherever he is" correct?

No. Use "where" instead of "wherever". If you want to use "wherever", you'd have to say something like "Wherever he is, it will make no difference to you".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Thanks. Is the use of "whatever" correct in the following sentence? Or, I have to use it as you told me.

We will defend our motherland whatever the cost.

    That's fine.
    I am not a teacher.

    Re: It makes no difference

Can you please explain why "wherever" is not used in that structure?

    Re: It makes no difference

In that structure (the one you used for "whatever"), "wherever" would be fine.

We will defend our motherland, wherever that is.

That's not the same structure as the one you used in post #1 where you started with "It makes no difference ...".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
