Textbooks that aren't so commercialized
Hello,
I'm seeking primary and middle school textbooks for Chinese students of various levels that are not so commercialized.
Most textbooks are very commercialized and focus on shopping, self-promotion, social status, and similar life topics.
I would consider ESL textbooks or American classroom Social Studies textbooks.

ESL books are notorious for sticking to what they see a safe subjects that don't cause offence., which is what leads to the sameness about many of them. What sort of subjects would you like to see used?
