    Bob collects vintage cars

I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

Bob collects vintage cars. He has about a dozen of them in his underground garage, each more expensive than the other.

    That's fine.

For the benefit of our learners, each [comparative adjective] than the other seems illogical, but it is used in English and possibly in other languages too. It's just a figure of speech.

Each suggests to me that the first one he bought is worth the least.

    Tdol,

    Should I say instead:

One more expensive than the other.

No. The original text is perfectly fine. The suggestion is that the cars are expensive (which tends to be the case with hobby cars).
