    Subordinator or not?

Sentence: We will look at how this is used.
    My question is here,
    1. Is a word "how" subordinator in this sentence? If not, then what is it?
    2. We will look at and this is used, are these two independent clauses?
    3. Are these independent clauses connected by a word "how"?

'We' is the subject. 'look' is the main verb. 'How this is used', a noun clause, is the object of the preposition 'at'.
That's how I would parse it.

    Re: Subordinator or not?

Thanks for your links, but I still don't think the following are independent clauses.

    1. We will look at something.
    2. We will look at how this is used.

'How this is used' functions as a noun, the object of 'at'.
