This much warm-up is enough for today before starting the exercise?

    Can I say the following?

    1) This much warm-up is enough for today before starting the exercise?

    2) John has shortened his warm-up now. Now he does only 150 push-ups before starting the lifting.

    3) Carter needs to lengthen his warm-up. He does only 50 push-ups before lifting.

    4) Tom did only 50 push-ups before lifting. It is the shortest warm-up of all. It is (shall I say "has been" here?) the shortest warm-up of his life so far.

    Please check my sentences.

I would change the first one a bit. Perhaps:

This much warm up is enough for today.

    Or:

We've warmed up enough. Let's do something else!

(A warm up is usually stretching exercises and is part of the overall routine.)

    For four, you might say:

Tom did only 50 pushups before lifting. It was his shortest warm up so far.

    How about 2 and 3?

No need to change anything with those. They're fine.
