    Post Would and ought to

It was then she felt that whenever she would have a relationship, it ought to be just like her parents’.

I'm not sure if it's grammatically correct to use would and ought to. Can someone correct this sentence if it's wrong?

    Thanks

    Re: Would and ought to

    I would use "that" thus:

It was then that she felt that whenever she would have a relationship it ought to be just like her parents'.
