As a child, Bob liked to go to

I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct.

As a child, Bob liked to go to the farmer's market, which he continued to do throughout his life.

Did the market belong to one farmer?

    teechar,

I have to admit I wondered what article should I use, and now I understand I made a mistake again.
Should I write "...liked to go to farmer's markets" instead?
    Or maybe "to a farmer's market" ?

However, if there was only one farmers' market local to him when he was a child, and it was the one he frequented, "farmers' market" is OK.

It's usually a single market at which lots of farmers converge to sell their wares.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Given that many of the stalls would be using the grocer's apostrophe, I doubt that many would complain too much.
