Hello, Please correct the following draft.

Writing can be a real fun for those who have flair for this art. I have used the word art because it is a skill of high quality which may not many possess. Expressing ideas in effective way by using appropriate vocabulary and correct grammar make writing readable and interesting. Writing can be differentiated in genres like; suspense, horror, fiction, action, mystery, biographies, satire to name a few. Every genre of writing requires particular style and vocabulary which differs with the rest of the genres. Another very important aspect of effective writing is ideas any writer selects to write on. The more effective is the idea the more powerful will be the writing. Besides, consulting dictionaries and finding appropriate words to make your writing readable is in itself an interesting pastime. It would be a sane idea not to frequently attempt complex construction of sentences where simple sentences can convey what we intend to. The sole purpose is that how coherently we convert our thoughts into words.

Thanks.

Hatim

I would also like you to please comment on my overall writing style in the above piece. Thanks.

Hello, Please correct the following draft.

Writing can be REALLY fun for those who have A flair for this art. I have used the word "art" because it is a skill of high quality which NOT EVERYBODY POSSESSES.

Note that I put your second "art" in scare quotes. (Because you are talking about the word itself.)

Writing is divided into fiction and non-fiction. Within those categories there are numerous subcategories (genres).

Perhaps:

Each genre of writing has its own vocabulary and style.

Another very important aspect of effective writing is THE ideas A writer selects to write ABOUT.

I woud use "chooses" rather than "selects" there.

I am not sure what you mean by an effective idea. Maybe "interesting subject" would work better.

Perhaps:

It would be a good idea to use simple sentences rather than complex sentences in which the reader can get lost in a blizzard of words.

The sole purpose is that how coherently we convert our thoughts into words.

I am not sure what you mean by "sole purpose" there. There are several reasons to write: to communicate, to entertain, to educate, to pass the time. Perhaps:

The purpose of writing is to convert our thoughts into words.

On the whole, it's well-organized. You just need somebody to make suggestions/corrections every once in a while.
