Can you use these abbreviations in sample sentences? They don't mean anything to me as written.

    Re: Grade or class?

A Faculty of Arts is an organizational unit of a college or university.

    BAs and MAs are degrees.

None of these can be used with class or grade.

    Re: Grade or class?

Suppose I have to prepare a report for FA/BA/MA students. What should I write then to mention the class of the students?

    Re: Grade or class?

Students working towards a BA are undergraduates in a Bachelor of Arts program. Students working on an MA are graduate students in a Masters program. You could address these students as BA students and MA students respectively.

A Faculty of Arts is an organizational unit which may offer BA, BFA ("Bachelor of Fine Arts") and/or MFA degrees. You would group the students as above, according to the degree they hope to attain.
