drop me a few meters from here

John, Carter and Toby are travelling in a car. Carter is driving the car.

John to Carter: Stop the car. I think Toby should be dropped here.

    Carter stops the car.

Toby: "Could you please drop me a few meters from here?" Or "I would like to be dropped a bit further from here."

    Please check my sentences.

I think it is more natural to say: Could you please drop me off a bit further up? (while pointing to the spot)?
I am not a teacher or a native speaker.

As we established in a previous thread.
