    What has become of him?

    Hi,

    Is the following sentence correct?
What has become of him? Has he passed the exam?

The two sentences don't go together. Perhaps:

How is he doing? Did he pass the exam?

    Yes—or

'What has become of him? Did he ever get out of prison?'
