Re: Idiom

Hello hankehonhsu, and welcome to the forum. :)
What does "keep one's wig on" mean?

It's a way of telling someone to relax/take it easy/not get angry.

Take a look at the following links.

https://www.usingenglish.com/reference/idioms/keep+your+wig+on.html
http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/keep-your-hair-on

Note also that I've moved your question to our Ask a Teacher section.
I have also changed the title of your thread. Thread titles need to include some of the words used in the question.

Re: Idiom

I've only heard "Keep your hair on" in this context. I rather like the "wig" alternative.

Re: Idiom

A very popular variant in 20th century America was "keep your shirt on", generally uttered by a woman to a man, but with the same meaning. I must admit, however, that I have not heard it in many years.
