May I know which John am I speaking with because I have more than one friend...

    Hi,

Suppose that Michael receives a text from an unknown number. Could you please correct the conversation below to make it sound more natural? Thank you.

John: Hey, how are doing, Michael? It's John here.
Michael: Doing good! Thanks for asking. May I know which John am I speaking with because I have more than one friend called John?

    If it's a text you're not speaking with/to him.

Generally, we don't write texts that formally. I'd reply with "Who's this? I know more than one John!"
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
