    Walking around Hong Kong

Walking around Hong Kong, it's easy to see why it's thought to have one of the best food scenes in the world.

    Is this sentence grammatically correct?

    Re: Walking around Hong Kong

I prefer "Walking around Hong Kong, you can (easily) see why ..."
The original sentence seems to contain a 'dangling modifier'.

    Re: Walking around Hong Kong

I would add 'by' before 'walking' in the original sentence, so that it will be a gerund rather than a dangling modifier.

It is easy to see why, by walking around Hong Kong, it's thought to have one of the best food scenes in the word.

I think the sentence reads OK if you transpose it as above.

    1. It is easy to do so by using a tool.
    2. By using a tool, it is easy to do so.

I think the constructions are grammatical.
