    "It takes longer to reach Michigan from Miami than New York." -- This is ambiguous. I thought you meant Miami to Michigan was longer than New York to Michigan.

    And by the way - since going from Miami to New York requires you to drive 95 through that awful section of Richmond to DC to Baltimore, where you could easily lose 4 hours or more, I'm not sure it's correct that you can get to New York faster than you can Michigan when you start in Miami.


    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
