Letter for requesting one day work from home and one day leave

    Hi Sir,

I would like to work from home on 10/24/17 and to take leave on 10/25/17. So please grant me to work from home option on 10/24/17.

    Thanks,
    Ram

    Welcome to the forum.

See above. My version is shorter and more to the point. I am working on the assumption that you need your boss's permission for both and my version asks for that whereas your original only seemed to ask for permission for the day to work from home.

The opening is a little odd. "Hi" is quite informal but "Sir" is very formal. Don't you know the name of the person you're writing to?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
