    Now is at dusk.

I think Piscean ignored 3 and 4 because nobody cares much or talks about the moon rising or setting—with the possible exception of astronomers.

The reasons why I posted point 3 and 4 were that I was asked by a kid the ways to say the moon is coming and disappearing in English.

    Re: Sun and moon

I may be seeing an urban/rural divide here. I watch the moon rising many times each year. It makes a dramatic impression shining through the spruce trees visible from my southeast-facing living room window, and is quite impressive viewed from outdoors.
    I am not a teacher.

He's 6 years old only. He is interested in learning English. I don't want to give him wrong information.
