    Seasons

There are 4 seasons in a year.
They are spring, summer, fall and winter.

    1. Did I use "fall" to replace "autumn" correctly?
    2. Do I need to put "seasons" in capital letter?

    Thanks.

    Re: Seasons

    1. 'Fall' is more commonly used by AE speakers, but I think they say 'autumn' in that traditional list. They'll confirm that or correct me when they wake up later.

    2. No.

Nope. Spring, summer, fall, and winter are the seasons in places that have four of them. We can say autumn if so moved.

    Hi GoesStation,

I don't understand what does the last sentence mean, "We can say autumn if so moved."?

    Re: Seasons

AE speakers have the option of saying autumn if they feel like it/if they have the urge to do so/if it seem the better choice for the context.

Yes, but that wouldn't have helped Ju. They would still not have understood 'moved'.
