There is no doubt that sport activities are a great way for people to maintain their bodies on in a good form. However, if this kind of physical activity, or the lack of it, is not balanced, it can be harmful for one’s health. That is why people should know when enough is enough and when is insufficient when it comes to doing sports.
The first case in which doing sport is too much is when it becomes an addiction. There are a lot of people who get obsessed with a physical activity. Such obsessive behavior can be very dangerous for one’s social life and contacts with other people. For example, people’s interest of improving their fitness can turn into a mania, which replaces their normal communication with other people. As a result, they spend more and more time in the gym, without being able to stop. In such situation, doing sports is not only more than enough but also harmful.
Another sign that people do too much sport is the injures. In other words, humans’ bodies show to them when they cannot handle all the pressure and the physical effort, needed in most sports activities. When a person is hurt of feel pain because of doing any sport, then it is time to stop doing it.
On the other hand, doing too little sport can also be harmful for one’s health. The lack of physical activity is the main reason why people suffer from diseases such as diabetes and heart attacks. When the first symptoms of such health disorders are noticed, then people know that they do not do enough sports.
To summarise, doing sports is very important for people. However, when they do not do sports in balanced way and in harmony with their bodies, it reflects on their health. When this happens they realise they did too much or too little sports.
