    Linking Verbs

    My bathing suit fits perfectly.

Is "fit" a linking verb and "perfectly" a subject complement?

    Re: Linking Verbs

No 'fit' is a stative verb, and 'perfectly' an adverb.

To check if a verb is being used as a linking verb, try replacing it with the correct form of to be. If they make sense and have almost the same meaning, they are linking verbs.
