    Will / Would

"He realized that he could only learn to swim, by jumping into the pool. He realized that he would have to fire the employee within him who wants guarantees. He realized that until the first employee within him, himself, is not fired he could never pursue his dreams."

I am trying to write this paragraph. I think the second sentence is grammatically incorrect. Should I use "will" instead of "would"?

The first sentence would be okay if you removed the comma.

The second and third don't make sense. What do you mean by the employee within him?

Actually, I wrote it figuratively. Ignore all these. Just tell me if the following one is correct??

"He realized that he would have to fire the employee who wants guarantees."

    ??

"He realized that he would have to fire the employee who wants guarantees."
It's grammatically possible. It would be more natural with who wanted guarantees. The employee who wants guarantees is an odd phrase but it could make sense in context.

Thanks. One more thing. Can I use "will" in place of "would".
