    It is/will Ben's birthday

Can we use will be (the future tense) in the sentence below instead of the present simple, please?

It is Ben's birthday next Monday. He will be 25.
    Can we write as below?
It will be Ben's birthday next Monday. He will be 25.

In fact, there isn't another tense we could use there.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Did you mean we can't use the present simple?

No, Em means there's a third choice.
I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.

No, I didn't mean that. I thought the OP's question was whether it was OK to use the future tense in "He will be 25". My point was that there is no other tense that works there if his birthday hasn't arrived yet.
Had I realised that the question was whether it was OK to the future tense in the first sentence, my answer would have been different.

Apologies to the OP for not understanding the original question. I note that post #1 has now been edited so the question is clear. (Moseen, in future, please don't edit a post after it has received responses. Some of our responses now appear nonsensical.)

I am sorry you are right. Because I understood that I asked the question not good I edited it.

See above. That's OK, I understand why you did it. Jut remember that you should really only edit a question while it has no responses.
