    Which mean/meaning

From the group's capital appreciation and foreseeable dividend payout ratio, Chan believes that China Hongqiao has strong production capabilities and is cost-effective, which means that the profits of the group will be satisfactory.

In what situation should I use "which mean" or "meaning"?

It's another way of saying ". . . and is cost-effective. That means that the profits of the group will be satisfactory."
I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.
