    The police raided the office of a local newspaper

    I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

    The police raided the office of a local newspaper and confiscated computers and other material. Upon hearing the news, journalists gathered in the street to protest in support of their colleagues, demanding immediate return of all confiscated items and material.

    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
