    I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct.

    Clive has bought an old car, against his better judgement, and now struggles to find spare parts for repairs.

    I would write it as shown above.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
