    kept forgetting

    Are these sentences correct?

    I apologize for my tardy reply. I wanted to send you an email but kept forgetting as I have been so busy packing, cleaning, etc. Moving to a new place is definitely stressful. I will definitely contact you when I am back in Hong Kong in March next year. As Christmas and New Year are approaching, I want to take the opportunity to wish you "Happy Holidays and New Year".
