    Famous faces

I want to use the phrase 'famous faces' as a synonym of 'celebrities' - to avoid repeating the latter - and I want to say something like this:

Normally, famous faces shun paparazzi cameras...

But I am not sure the verb shun combines well with famous faces. How would it read, in a native's opinion?

    Re: Famous faces

There's no special problem with the combination of famous faces and shun.

But since paparazzi tend not to allow their targets the choice to be photographed, I'm not sure there would be much chance to shun.
