I want to use the phrase 'famous faces' as a synonym of 'celebrities' - to avoid repeating the latter - and I want to say something like this:
Normally, famous faces shun paparazzi cameras...
But I am not sure the verb shun combines well with famous faces. How would it read, in a native's opinion?
