    Cool Opposite

    Can someone please tell me what it is called when you create a sentence using opposite words
    for instance: near is not far

    It wouldn't occur to me that there is a term for that at all.

    I do not believe that there is a term for such a sentance, based off of your example. But if you are refering to two words in a sentance or phrase that oppose eachother (e.g., jumbo shrimp), that is called an oxymoron.
