    touch base

    Are these sentences correct?

I will be in Hong Kong for the first two weeks of April. I will touch base with you when I arrive and we can arrange a suitable time for coffee/lunch.

I can accept the sentences as they appear in the OP. The meaning is crystal clear.

Where I live, people's meanings are usually crystal clear, but their grammar is usually terrible.

In fact, they should be coming here.

    Re: touch base

The choice between coffee/lunch and coffee or lunch is a matter of style rather than grammar.
