    Concrete nouns refer to what you can see and touch (e.g. computer, tv, kettle, glass, teapot, jar, mug, chair, butter,book), as opposed to abstract nouns which refer to unobservable notions such as feelings (e.g. difficulty, stubbornness, music, remark).
    So mister micawber is right in that these are all concrete nouns but the term 'concrete nouns' has nothing to do with concrete or stone!
