    checking listening

    Hello!

I'd like to ask, is there a section on the forum where I can check my listening skills? For example, a short YouTube video, which I transcribe myself, with some parts/phrases/words that I can't make out. And members of the forum, after checking the video at the link in the thread, correct those parts. Like proofreading, only correcting wrong listening instead of wrong grammar.

Yes, you can post such threads to our Pronunciation and Phonetics section.

    Re: checking listening

It's better to post short videos there and use the feature to start the video at the right place. If you post an hour-long talk up there, you probably won't get many people listening to all of it.
