Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"Those words provoked a sense of joy and even euphoria among the workers. Between the applause towards the head of the company, the enigmatic man retires stealthily of the place."

Thanks.

What do you mean by "Between the applause"? "The applause" is one thing - a sustained clapping of hands so the man would have to retire between the applause and something else.

Dear emsr2d2: First of all, thanks for your help.

"Those words provoked a sense of joy and even euphoria among the workers .Taking advantage of the moment in which all applaud with some of the workers in a euphoric state, the mysterious man took advantage of sneaking out of the place."

Thanks.

Perhaps:

The man took advantage of the situation and snuck out of the place.

The word "mysterious" suggests that people don't know who he is. Is that what you mean to say?

Dear Tarheel: Thanks for your answer.

Yes, the people do not know who he is. The only one who knows him is the boss of the company.

Don't use Between the applause. Say During the applause.
