    cachaca

    'cachaca'
    Is it uncountable?
Could we never say "I like cachacas" or
"There are several kinds of cachacas"?
    Thank you.

    Re: cachaca

I'd use it uncountably there, but you could buy a couple of cachacas.

Cachaca (ka-SHAH-sa) is a liquor made from distilling sugar cane juice.

"Although very few of the thousands of cachacas made in Brazil are available in the United States, the drink is catching on here." http://www.pondblog.com/2005_09_04_p...g_archive.html
