I don't like blog. The Grauniad is far too prestigious to be called a blog.

The others are fine.

"outlet" doesn't sit well with me. I think of an outlet (still) as some kind of shop. I'd call it an "online newspaper". Well, I'd call it a newspaper first, but I'd call the online version an "online newspaper" or perhaps an "online news source".

As the gaurdian is an online platform for news updates and cumulative of newspaper, magazine, blogs, people opinions,
so any of the below can be used other than an "outlet".
"online newspaper"
"online magazine"
"online news medium"
"news blog"

I don't see any way that an online newspaper like that can be called a blog.

When any General article is posted, pages such as "the Guardian" uses the term "News Blog". So, I don't think the terminology is wrong in any sense.

I would be surprised if even a tiny handful of people who read the Guardian online every day thought of it as a blog.

Surprised? Nay, astounded is the word I would choose.

My only hypothesis is that MinOKim, being (supposedly) an American, has failed to grasp that the grauniad is a major international newspaper.

The paper has some pages that are blogs, but they are only a small part of what is a major news operation, so, yes, the term is inaccurate.

Check this News Blog page from the Guardian and measure it against the newspaper's total online output:
