Remember Groucho Marx? some quotes:

I could dance with you until the cows come home. On second thought I'd rather dance with the cows until you come home.

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.

Oh are you from Wales ?? Do you know a fella named Jonah ?? He used to live in whales for a while.

Why, I'd horse-whip you if I had a horse.

I've heard that one (though only once). Example:
When he hears about that he will have a cow. (Meaning: he will be upset about that.) (Possibly from the TV show "The Simpsons" where Bart is known to say, "Don't have a cow, man!")
