TASK
How can employers ensure that their employees are happy and motivated?
- establish good communications
-encourage a work-life balance
-make employees feel valued as people

ESSAY
Most people would agree that the happier and more motivated employees are, the more productive the company is going to be. For this reason, employers try to establish some methods which will help in achieving business success. But do they certainly understand their workers needs? In this essay I will put forward methods that employers could adopt in order to achieve this.

Firstly, the most important thing employers can do is establish good communication among their workers. It is certainly true that the more that you are able to discuss problems with your manager and colleagues, the more you fit in the company. Consequently, the problem-solving will not be an issue and this will avoid confrontation which is important to feel understood among the people you work with.

Employers should also encourage employees to have a healthy work-life balance. This means accepting that employees need time to pursue leisure activities and to socialise with their friends and families. Although it may be said that the earlier you work the more efficient, it is widely known that people need different schedules and the more flexible timetables are the happier a worker will be. Having said that, employers should even discourage employees from starting work too early in the morning or from taking a lot of overtime and finishing time in the evening.

As far as I am concerned, both of the approaches I have suggested are actually interdependent, one of the ways employers can make their employees feel understood is to communicate better with them and respect their different lifestyles. This will help ensure that employees remain happy and motivated at any company.

Thank you very much!!

Having said that, employers should even discourage employees from starting work too early in the morning or from taking a lot of overtime and finishing time in the evening. (Here I was trying to poing out that employers should discourage their employees from starting too early when they are not efficient at some hours, or when they organise themselves different)

As far as I am concerned, both of the approaches I have suggested are actually interdependent, (Here I mean that both methods are linked to each another in some way because in order to be able to make understand your boss how your organise yourself you need to have good communication at work)

Try:
