Hi,

This sentence was written by a native speaker and I did try to find the meaning but it's all in other languages. I was so stupid that I forgot to put the meaning of it down. What does it mean?

It's as plain as the nose on your face.

How or when do you use this?

Thanks a lot

How: You use it when something is extremely obvious.

When: Anytime.

The pike itself is largely forgotten, not only in idiom. It must have been both terrifying and highly effective when actually used.
